Willow’s perinatal consults offer a dedicated space for families navigating the profound complexities of the reproductive journey. Whether you are seeking advocacy within the medical system following a loss or diagnosis, or practical guidance as you prepare for birth and postpartum, these conversations are tailored to your unique path. You don't have to navigate these steps alone. We are here to help you think through your options with expertise and deep care.

  • A consult is a practical, action-oriented session designed to complement traditional counseling by focusing on immediate "how-to" guidance. It is a dedicated space to ask "what now?" and navigate the logistical side of your journey. While counseling offers deep emotional processing, a consult focuses on your most pressing practical needs. From birth planning to navigating hospital protocols and medical systems - we’re here.

  • These sessions are for individuals, couples, or family members at any stage of the reproductive path. This includes those currently pregnant or adopting, navigating the postpartum period, or walking through the aftermath of a loss or new diagnosis. If you are facing one of the major challenges of the perinatal experience and need professional advocacy or a clear roadmap, this space is for you.

  • Expect a supportive, conversational environment where your immediate concerns are the priority. We will look at your specific situation, explore your options, and identify concrete next steps. You’ll leave with a clearer sense of direction and the reassurance that you have a professional ally helping you along the way.

  • Consults are designed to be flexible and accessible.

  • Counseling is typically a longer-term process focused on deep emotional healing and processing. A consult is more "in the moment"—it’s action-oriented, conversational, and focused on solving immediate practical or navigational challenges, like birth planning or managing a medical diagnosis. You can absolutely do both.

  • Absolutely. Perinatal challenges affect the whole family, and having your partner or a supportive family member present can be incredibly helpful for getting everyone on the same page.

  • Yes. Consults are a safe space for those walking through loss or a difficult diagnosis. We can focus on navigating the immediate medical requirements, processing your options for what comes next, or simply creating a "survival plan" for the early days of grief.

  • I know that life in the perinatal period is unpredictable. If you need to reschedule due to a sudden change in your situation, please just let me know as soon as possible. We will find another time that works.

  • Of course. Whether we are meeting online or at a coffee shop, your baby is always welcome. We can pause for feedings, changes, or cuddles whenever needed—this is a high-grace, real-life space.
