Who We Are
Willow was born from shared experiences of loss, hope, and the search for support. Our founder, Brittney, faced her own perinatal challenges and experienced firsthand the isolation and uncertainty that can come with fertility struggles, pregnancy loss, birth complications, and early parenthood. She understood that while professional guidance is essential, what’s often missing is connection with people who truly understand the emotional journey.
In 2024, Brittney met Gloria, a parent who had experienced a stillbirth at 39 weeks. Their empathic connection became the seed for Willow: a place where community peer support and professional care come together to support families.
From that first connection, Willow grew organically. What began with peer-support groups expanded into professional services, all designed so families can access both understanding and guidance in one place.
Today, Willow continues to honor that original purpose: listening, understanding, and walking alongside families at every stage of their journey.
We’re here so no family has to navigate their experiences alone.
Our Mission
Willow exists to support those whose perinatal and early parenthood journeys have been unexpected, challenging, or isolating. We combine lived experience and professional expertise to create a safe, compassionate space where every parent can feel seen, understood, and supported — from peer groups and professional counselling to dedicated doula care. Here, your experience is honored, and you are never alone.
